WEALD HALL EVENTS
In January 2005, the Town Council introduced a pilot season of events at the Weald Hall, aiming to provide a broad range of entertainment events for residents of the Town.
The pilot season began with George Melly in concert, and was followed by an evening with Tony Benn and a concert by Chas ‘n’ Dave.
Following the success of the pilot season, the Council introduced a full season of events from April 2006, starting with the London Community Gospel Choir, Abba Gold and the UpBeat Beatles - not too mention a very successful ice rink in August 2006 for younger residents.
